Job Description:

This 6,000 sq. ft. retail store is located inside The Home Depot at 2665 N. Halsted Rd., Chicago, IL 60614 (near Diversey and N. Halsted).

Current retail store locations include:
Town & Country, MO (metropolitan St. Louis, MO)
Overland Park, KS (greater Kansas City, MO)
Lincoln Park, IL and Lake Zurich, IL (metropolitan Chicago, IL)
Vauxhall, NJ (Northern NJ / NYC).

Our corporate office is located in St. Louis, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Supervisor to assist the Store and Assistant Managers with retail functions to include sales, customer service, POS system functions and operations.

Ensure customers receive the best possible service

Contribute to the achievement of the store sales plan

Lead by example through suggestive and cross-selling to customers

Ensure efficient and accurate cash register operations

Encourage the performance of employees with sales goals and a plan for meeting store goals

Ensure that polices and procedures are followed accurately in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be eighteen years of age
Must have high school diploma/GED
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment test if applicable

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

One (1)+ year of retail customer service/sales experience

Previous supervisory experience preferred

Proven sales and customer service achievements

Self-starter and motivator

Excellent communication skills

Strong computer skills, including POS, Word and Excel knowledge

Flexible availability to include days, evenings and weekends
