The Retro-Commissioning Technician must excel in commercial HVAC systems knowledge including temperature controls systems and related disciplines. Typical responsibilities will include; Testing, adjusting, making minor repairs to heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and related equipment, and evaluation of building temperature control systems and determining corrective action. Candidate must be capable of setting up and conducting performance tests on the equipment and systems, as directed by the lead engineer. Other duties will include investigating, trouble-shooting, and spot-checking of HVAC systems with apparent design deficiencies, maintenance problems, or large energy consumption will be required.
