About the Job

Project Time & Cost, Inc., an Atlanta based international cost and forensic engineering firm is currently seeking Risk Analysis Engineers for Richland, WA.

Job Description

The Risk Analyst is responsible for successfully integrating with the project team to represent all aspects of risk, including risk elicitation, refinement, characterization, and quantification. He/she may draw upon a background in baseline development and maintenance, including sound understanding of and/or the ability to manipulate project schedules and integrated cost estimates, as well as a firm grasp of the principles of earned value management and general project controls concepts. However, a successful risk analyst may also draw upon a background in systems analysis, with the ability to make inferences about cause/effect that an attribute of the system may have on the system’s performance.

Work activities and deliverables are required to be provided in accordance with Department of Energy Order 413.3A and applicable DOE Guides, such as DOE G 413.3-7 Risk Management Guide. The successful candidate will facilitate the elicitation of project risks, support characterization, and provide proactive support to the project management team, including risk handling actions monitoring, monthly status reports, and emerging support requirements. Additionally, periodic quantitative analysis will be performed using Pertmaster ® software to support budget submittals, baseline validation, and project performance tracking. The objectives for risk support include ensuring that the project’s risk posture is consistent with the current environment and translating data into meaningful information for managing the project. This requires the ability to understand the underlying causes and impacts of a potential risk on the project and to model the risk appropriately to achieve desired behavior.

The Risk Analyst will also play a significant role in developing the Risk Management program, including advancing processes and procedures and administrative tools related to Risk Registers and other process or project documentation, such as Risk Management Plans, Project Execution Plans, Environmental Liability Audit analysis, etc.
