Robotics/Controls Engineer
About the Job
An industry leader in automation for custom machinery has an immediate job opening for a ROBOTICS/CONTROLS ENGINEER . This is a contract or contract-to-hire position.
3+ years programming Fanuc robots with Teach Pendant and/or Karel
3+ years programming AllenBradley PLC ControlLogix processors
3+ years programming AllenBradley PV1000+ or similar type HMI's
ACAD and hardware design skills are not needed, but a plus
Other robot experiences are a plus such as ABB, MotoMan, Adept
Other PLC experiences are a plus such as Siemens, Omron
Other programming experience such SCADA or Wonderware type applications is a plus
Good communicator
Flexible work hours
Travel at 30-40%
We are primarily looking for a person who can write software from
scratch, or at least can take a program from a similar project and modify/customize it.
Candidates in close proximity to Greenville, South Carolina will be given preferred consideration.
