Well established power generation company is seeking a Mechanical Rotating Equipment Specialist with power generation exp for a direct hire position near Dallas, TX. Position will focus primarily on large boiler feed pumps and other mechanical BOP equipment. Positions will require 50% travel within the state of Texas to support plant assets. Responsibilities - Candidate will provide mechanical rotating equipment expertise to support the fossil generation fleet throughout Texas (~50% travel)
- Exp should include equipment such as motors and a variety of large capacity (10,000 - 30,000 hp pumps) : boiler feed pump, heater drain pumps, condensate pumps, circulating water pumps, and other rotating equip
- Candidate reviews unit and equipment efficiency/performance/testing, maintenance, and operational procedures, and makes recommendations to address equipment issues
- Candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for rotating mechanical equipment engineering, discipline, and components
Requirements - BSME (or equiv) & 15+ years of power plant experience, including mechanical equipment inspection and repairs, equipment analysis, or maintenance–related role required
- PE a plus
