PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS JOB: The Sales & Order Processing Manager is responsible for the overall implementation of the S&OP processes. Partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and other functions to execute best practice Sales and Operations processes. Key areas of focus will be the design, implementation and facilitation of best practice process and systems for S&OP and developing the capabilities of the demand planning resources. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads the development and implementation of a Global Sales & Operations process within Service Parts. Partners closely with key Business Leaders to implement the S&OP process, Produces and Validates forecast accuracy and methodology, Provide input to inventory strategy Assist to align financial/business plans with the operations plans, through the S&OP process. Designs, develops, and conducts Sales & Operations Planning meetings, Provide visibility to Global Inventory Management team in supporting trends in support of business growth. Job Facilitates the S&OP process to assure proper communication regarding significant current and potential business opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner. Work with Global Inventory Management of future Requirements to support new business as well as loss of business Works with all stakeholders to assure that product promotions, marketing plans, sales plans product launches and product phase-out plans for all product lines are addressed as part of the S&OP process. Reviews demand by business team / geographic region. Supports and works closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategies. Drives the Sales and Operations Planning to support actions that meet and exceed annual objectives on quality performance, cost savings, inventory goals and customer service. Educates cross-functional partners on the S&OP process and engages them in the ongoing process as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in business, logistics, engineering or supply chain or other related field; or equivalent and relevant work experience 10 + years experience in supply chain planning and inventory management in a complex global manufacturing, service parts or distribution environment. Specific long term experience in the areas of S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Materials Management. Demonstrated skills in facilitating cross functional meetings with senior executives Demonstrated track record in managing teams and working effectively across all functions and organizations Familiarity with MRP / ERP and lean concepts as well as computer literacy and excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytic and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability in performing in a fast-paced, changing and demanding environment.
