Position Summary:
Provide hearing healthcare solutions to restore full activity and the joy of living to all hearing loss suffers. Achieve Company sales goals.
Perform all position activities in a manner which meets company performance and behavior expectations.
Perform all activities necessary for customer service, sales and follow-up service of hearing care solutions which achieve customer delight and sales/profit goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hearing evaluations
- Customer education
- Hearing aid fitting and product consultation
- Order placement
- Hearing aid delivery and patient education
- After care support and service
- When necessary, travel to customer homes for patient care, sales or service support.
- Perform prospecting, appointment setting, and other activities necessary to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain service centers and participate in community programs.
- Receive incoming calls and answer general inquiries or refer to appropriate party.
- Work with retail staff, district & territory managers, and/or corporate support staff to resolve customer or business issues.
- If responsible for scheduling coverage of hearing center, coordinate coverage with telemarketer/receptionist or other staff.
- Complete requirements necessary to obtain and maintain state/federal hearing aid dispensing license. Upon request, attend training seminars or hearing aid association meetings.
- Complete product/technical/business training provided by Company.
- When assigned, assist with training and supervision of other sales consultants.
- Conduct all activities in compliance with company procedures and policy, and state and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Provide assistance for special projects. Make suggestions for cost/quality/customer service/sales improvements.
- Maintain records of sales, service, deliveries, and prospecting.
- Other duties as assigned or as required to meet customer or business needs.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Dispensing license for state of operation.
- Education required by state licensing.
- Professional sales training or relevant skills training.
- Audiology degree desirable.
- Previous sales experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Healthcare services experience.
- History of successful performance in past positions.
- Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience in or evidence of skills in direct sales.
- High level of interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of customer empathy.
- Proficiency in common office software applications
- Ability to train and pass state Licensing exam
