SPHERION, in partnership iwth our client company, is seeking an experienced Sales/Marketing manager with Risk and Reinsurance experience.
This position is responsible for:
-Managing 3 Underwriters daily
-Building a relationship with the distribution networks
-Plans, develops and implements plans to increase business
-Coordinates activities of the team and promotion of products sold to develop new markets
-Planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement
-Develops subordinates skills and encourages growth; makes self available to staff
-High energy, enthusiasm, perseverance in working with the team
-Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and soliciting new accounts
-Marketing using all available tools; Web marketing, e-newsletters, email blasts, etc.
Minimum qualifications include:
-4 year degree
-Minimum 5 years experience in Sales&Marketing Manager role
-Excellent customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented and able to multi-task
-Ability to thrive in a high pressure, competitive environment
-Skilled communicator to overcome objections and probe for vital information
-High level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
-Good attitude is a must ! Dynamic and outgoing on the phone !
-Ability to travel in US as needed. Ability to work overtime as needed to speak to West Coast clients.
