Qualification/Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. College education is preferred.
• Experience managing a large volume of opportunities over the telephone is preferred
• Limited travel to customer sites or for conventions required.
• Hands-on work experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Other skills needed:
• Knowledge of the marketplace.
• Knowledge of competition.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the ability to read engineering drawings at a basic level.
• Clear understanding of sales and marketing strategy.
• Ability to utilize internal software designed to manage sales process.
• Specializes in market segments (i.e. Church, School, Military, etc) buying practices.
• Strong project management skills to assist customer throughout the buying the process.
• Ability to clearly qualify new suspects and close new business on a consistent basis.
• Must have strong time management skills to achieve success.
• Must work well with people – both internally and externally.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills.

Sales are generated using the consultative selling approach that combines leads, referrals and cold calling, within an assigned target market/geographic area. Top performers will have the ability to qualify, propose, negotiate and close new business and prospect for new opportunities. This position specializes in market segments (i.e. Church, School, Military, Business, etc) buying practices.
