SAP Administrator

BIOTRONIK, Inc. now has an exciting opportunity available for an SAP Administrator in beautiful Portland Oregon.          

 

The candidate should have a deep understanding of Sales and Distribution (SD) module configuration and pricing. In addition, the individual should understand the functionality of the FI module.  An individual being considered for this role should possess expertise in their area of SAP specialization and leverage this knowledge to design and develop business solutions. The candidate will interact with Biotronik headquarters in Berlin, Germany, to effectively communicate development needs for US headquarters.  The individual will understand how actions taken in one area of their competence impact related areas.

 

The SAP Administrator’s responsibilities include the following:

  • The SAP Administrator will have responsibility for supporting BINC USA SAP users with any SAP related issue.  Including: password resets, user account set-up/deletion, security access review/changes, creating and maintaining ship-to/bill-to/sales rep accounts, and report development. 
  • Provide data to users upon request.
  • Responsibility for testing new functionality and changes made in the SAP environment as well as documenting and reporting such tests. 
  • In addition, the SAP Administrator is responsible for testing and validation of other sales systems that interface with SAP.
  • Escalate tier 3 requests to the appropriate SAP staff at Biotronik headquarters in Berlin and ensure request is resolved.
  • Support other sales systems as requested by Sales Systems Manager.

 

 

Qualifications for the position include:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in SAP Sales and Distribution module.
  • Understand SAP pricing logic, sales structure, Finance module, Business Objects/Intelligence.
  • Experience in developing SAP reports.
  • Experience in SAP implementation procedures (test, documentation, data migration).
  • Experience in project methodologies.
  • Understand SAP interfaces to third party systems.
