Job Overview: We are looking for SAP Basis Administrators having good experience with Banking Clients.

Location: Prefer New York, NY or Chicago, IL

Required Travel: 75 - 100%

Job Description: The SAP Basis Administrators will provide basis administration services related to the design, installation, administration, testing and on-going maintenance of SAP and SAP third-party software packages and patches, which is currently being supported and implemented. The major components of SAP included are ECC 6.0 SAP_BASIS 701, SRM 5.5 SAP_BASIS 700, BI 7.0, SRM 7.0, XI 7.0, and Portal 7.0.
you requested administrates SAP and SAP 3rd party applications. The position requires analyzing system requirements, service patch administration, managing change requests, providing work estimates, configuration of standard solutions, testing and all other SAP and SAP 3rd party administration functions. This includes support of a 5 system landscape, system enhancements and project implementations

All Candidates should have experience with HP-UX/Itanium environments

1. SAP Basis  - 5(+) Years
* Must have SAP (ABAP+ JAVA) systems hosting exposure with HP-UX/Itanium platform  including virtualized environment
* Must to have various SAP components installations and configurations experience
* Experience in building including  implementing, operating and maintaining  of  large SAP business suites
* 5(+) years of  experience in Database/ORACLE (10G) administration
* Building high availability of SAP systems (fail-over, disaster recovery etc.) is a plus
* Basic Solution Manager experience is required
* Prior exposure in Managing banking infrastructure etc.

2. SAP Banking Services – 5(+) Years
* Should have experience with SAP Banking Services 7.x

3. SAP PI (XI) – 5 Years
* Must have SAP (ABAP+ JAVA) systems hosting exposure with HP-UX/Itanium platform  including virtualized environment
* Must to have SAP PI components installations and configurations experience
* Experience in building including implementing, operating and maintaining  of  large SAP  PI (XI) instances
* Building high availability of SAP systems (fail-over, disaster recovery etc.) is a plus
* Basic Solution Manager experience is required, and advanced
* Prior exposure in Managing banking infrastructure etc
* Nice to have SAP Technical Certification in BASIS etc.

4. BI/BW Expert – 5(+) Years
* Must to have various SAP BI, BPC and BOBJ components installations and configurations experience
* Experience in building including implementing, operating and maintaining  of  large SAP BI systems
* Building high availability of SAP systems (fail-over, disaster recovery etc.) is a plus
* Basic Solution Manager experience is required, and advanced
* Prior exposure in Managing banking infrastructure etc.

5. SAP BPC & BOBJ
* SAP BPC 7.x installations, configurations and integration with BI

Roles & Responsibilities:
* SAP Basis administration and technical core competencies tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, and installation of add-on software components
* SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishment of standard Basis background jobs and system health checks and monitoring
* Impact analysis of new SAP releases to current system landscape environments
* Design of solution and assistance to project and production support teams in deploying the solution
* Analysis of system performance, database performance, system health checks and implementation of tuning improvements
* Establishment of OSS and EarlyWatch connections where appropriate
* Participation in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement
* Maintenance of multi-landscape environments through client copies, system refreshes, and transport management
* Responsibility for optimal disk layout, file system structures, OS tuning/performance improvements, and troubleshooting
* Technical consulting and mentoring to application development, functional, global rollout, integration and change release management teams, and also to fellow Basis Administrators
* Technical Leadership and participation in technical projects across multiple teams
* Investigation and engineering of new technologies and solution from SAP and associated software vendors
* Practical experience interfacing to 3rd party technologies such as Vertex, BSI, Adobe Forms, Doc Builder, Nakisa, Business Objects and other common SAP bolt-ons

Required Skills & Experience:
* Three full life cycle SAP project implementation preferred.
* 8+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience
* 10+ years IT infrastructure experience
* Excellent communication skills
* SAP Basis Administration in a Windows Server 2003 SQL 2005 environment
* Working knowledge of SAP in an HP infrastructure 64 bit hardware environment
* All Candidates should have experience with HP-UX/Itanium environments

Education:
* Degrees with an Computer Science / IT / IT related
