Join a stable and growing company as a SAP Business Intelligence Architect.  Drive and be involved in all aspects of the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions and related components; system architecture, solution performance, and interfaces.   Partner with business to understand their challenges & translate them into requirements.  Ensure the creation of production solutions which address quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity.

Responsibilities

Implement SAP BI strategy and best practices for global BI solution

Creation, maintenance and implementation of BI solutions utilizing SAP BI and Cognos applications

Provide BI oversight to ensure the long term reliability, scalability, availability, integrity and maintainability for enterprise data warehouse

Active role in data architecture, tools, processes, project assessment and development process design

Provide technical overviews and BI tool demonstrations to BI Power Users, Key Business users and SAP Functional owners

Diagnose and resolve application bottlenecks and performance issues via performance tuning/optimization

Work closely with Key Business users to understand their challenges and translate them into requirements

Collaborate with SAP Functional owners and BI development team to ensure the creation of production solutions which address business needs

Organize, create and maintain critical technical and functional documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications, test plans and training materials

Required Skills

10+ Years IT Experience

5+ Years as a SAP BI Architect / Manager

5+ Years Experience with SAP BI Architecture, Implementation, Data Integration, Reporting Tools, ETL Tools, Data Staging, Data Design / Structure

5+ Years Experience With SAP BW 3.5 and SAP BI 7.0 in Modeling, Reporting BEX Analyzer, Query Designer, System Administration, Table Storage Maintenance, Security,
Configuration, and Business Content Activation

Knowledge of SAP functional areas including: Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Finance and Controlling, and Inventory

Strong Data Warehouse Management Experience

BA/BS Degree
