


Summary: The SAP CO Business Analyst is the primary liaison between system users, management, and our corporate information systems for all software systems. The Analyst's responsibility is to provide support and direction to optimize the company's use of information. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems that are cost effective and meet user’s requirements. The analyst is responsible for the coordination, design, configuration, and testing to assure that corporate objectives and benefits are met Business Analysts’ control the identification and prioritization of enhancement projects for their assigned modules. Training, mentoring, and post implementation support is an essential element of this position. Primary duties: · Experience with running and maintaining a standard costing system in a manufacturing environment. · Experience with monthly calculation and analysis of standard cost variances to drive performance improvement. · Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. · Thorough business understanding in required proficiencies with CO, cost center accounting (CO-OM), budgets, internal orders, product costing (PC), profitability analysis (PA), profit center accounting (PCA). · Understanding of the MM/PP areas including (Master Data, MRP, Routings, Bill of materials, inventory management, and warehouse management, manufacturing, quality management) · A solid understanding of cost accounting business process and best business practices. · A comprehensive understanding of SAP customizing toolset Implementation Management Guide (IMG) and the configuration intricacies of the CO modules. · A full understanding of SAP’s integration with the SD, PP, MM, QM, FI, and BW. Secondary duties: Supervisory responsibilities: Perform the majority of the project management functions of the user groups including: coordinating, organizing, planning and scheduling, communicating, tracking accountability, ensuring documentation, monitoring and evaluating, problem solving and technical assistance. Qualifications: A typical candidate for this position would possess: · a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or equivalent; · 5 years business and Information Services experience, 10+ years preferred · excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills; · Proven Software Systems experience · Proven project management capabilities. · Proven understanding of database applications, system development, report writing, and SAP ERP. · At least 5 years - SAP IMG, SAP Query, report writer, report painter experience · APICS, BW, ABAP, SAP Solution Manager experience is also beneficial. education/experience: · a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent; · 5 years business and IS experience, 10+ years preferred Please email your resume to eileen.flavin@rcmt.com
