Position Summary:  The SAP Consultant will be accountable for installing Syclo software for client’s at the client site.  Utilizing knowledge of Syclo products, other asset management software, databases, and software tools for integrating Syclo software into the clients’ asset management system, the SAP Consultant will perform the installation, test the product, train client staff and perform other necessary duties to insure a seamless integration.  The SAP Consultant will also manage projects when assigned, and develop custom mobile applications as required by the SOW.

Responsibilities:

Administrative

·         Follow any policies or procedures provided by the organization

·         Complete weekly time sheets

·         Work effectively and cooperatively with other team members

Technical

Design and tailor systems to client requirements.

●Design of technical and functional specifications

●Management of workshops

●Design, construct and conduct software testing programs.

●Manages programming exercises.

●Implement Software roll-out to a number of sites

Product Installation and Integration

·         Conduct pre-assessment of client’s situation

·         Prepare planning documents

·         Prepare all necessary information for client site visit

·         Coordinate site visit with client representative

·         At client site, confirm data from planning documents

·         Conduct assessment of client hardware and software requirements

·         Set up Agentry server

·         Install Syclo software

·         Test Syclo software

·         Conduct training with client staff members

·         Meet with client representative to insure that client requirements have been met         

·         Conduct follow up with client after installation to insure that client is satisfied with installation

Key requirements:

SAP experience and knowledge of a minimum of three modules.  ABAP programming experience is critical.

Communication skills to work with clients to identify and specify the project requirements as well as maintaining customer communication during the life of the project.

Negotiation skills to obtain required resources at both the customer level and within Syclo.

Technical skills in Syclo software products as well as external software products necessary to meet the customers’ requirements.

Testing skills to perform necessary tests to determine products’ ability to meet customer requirements and project specifications.

Writing skills to write project plan, scope document, and communicate project status within Syclo and to customers.

Team skills to work with customers’ and Syclo’s project teams.

Time management skills to meet requirements of project plan in a timely fashion.

Project management skills to develop project plan and manage resources to meet the requirements of the project plan.

Sense of urgency and dedication to meeting customer requirements according to project plan.

Ability to design creative mobile software solutions to satisfy customer needs.

Ability to conduct needs analysis that will provide necessary data to write project specification document.

Ability to work with customers to identify further needs that may lead to future SAP consulting projects

Must have Java programming and analysis experience. 

Must know SQL in detail (not a DBA, but know how to create tables, indices, complex joins, updates, etc)

Bachelor’s degree in technical area preferred
