SAP Security Architect

 Description

 

  • Work with technical and business teams to design, and implement the SAP security architecture and support the SAP Global Rollout.
  • Responsible for SAP ECC, CRM, Enterprise Portal Architecture, Design and implement in an application environment
  • Architect and integrate SAP software securely with other enterprise applications as well as the review of SAP access controls and access administration requirements
  • Lead a team of security and technical analysts (contractors and employees), responsible for supporting SAP Security and 3rd Party integrations
  • Provide project management and implementation guidance, training and support for Global SAP Security Initiative
  • Perform business process analysis, blueprinting, security design, segregation of duties analysis, and work across various teams.
  • Design security strategies, standards, procedures and solutions for SAP environment with components like ECC, BI, EP, Solution Manager
  • Lead efforts to define overall SAP security model for existing and future application implementations
  • Produce gap analysis to identify alternate solutions specific to SAP security requirements and provide technical recommendations on design or architecture improvements
  • Interact with Internal and External Auditors for the purpose of information gathering needed to ensure  all compliance requests and requirements are being met
  • Learn and understand core internal security processes to create a security specific education and awareness program to appropriate project stakeholders
  • Design, Build and Support of the SAP Portal in the Sandbox, Development, Test, Training, QA and Production environments for Functional, Change, Implementation and Test teams

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 7 years IT or equivalent business experience, including at least 5 years SAP Basis/Security experience, which should include multiple security implementation projects of major SAP Global implementations in a medium or large business settings
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Experience with numerous SAP modules: ECC, CRM, Portal, PI, MDM, etc. with security administration
  • Must have strong knowledge of security principles and standards including SOX, CISSP, HIPPA.
  • Thorough knowledge in SAP security infrastructure (NetWeaver) with multiple project implementations in both ABAP and Java based components (e.g., GRC and SAP IDM)
  • Must have experience reviewing all parameters related to interfaces and XI processes to ensure that the current implementation delivers required security levels and can address any deficiencies that may arise
  • Experience with Solution Manager and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred
  • Full life-cycle Implementations with experience on SAP Security Best Practices, Segregation of duties and SOX
  • Security certifications : CISSP, CISM, CISA, CISSLP, etc., preferred
