Director of Quality
Our client is an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider located in the Silicon Valley. They have engaged us to find their next Director of Quality.
The Director is a key, executive-level position with responsibility for the Company Quality System. This person will lead multiple Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors.
This person will lead the facility to FDA certification and will be the management representative for ISO 13485 and ITAR audits by customers and independent notified bodies/agencies.
This person needs to be a strong communicator who can inspire confidence in the eyes of the customer.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- BS degree plus 15+ years applicable experience, or equivalent education with applicable experience in electronic manufacturing processes
- Experience interfacing with FDA
- Experience with Gap analysis
- Experience with the FDA’s QSR, 13485, and ITAR
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis/CAR
- Experience working with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Support, and Business Development
- EMS experience from multiple companies
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to present to a broad audience—and inspire confidence in the eyes of the customer
- Six Sigma Blackbelt (nice to have)
