Job duties: The SAP Systems Analyst is part of the North America Enterprise Applications team and supports the SAP operations of our existing customer base in the Pleasant Prairie, WI facility.
In this role the Analyst 1) Maintains existing systems environments and business processes 2) Implements change requests and smaller projects for existing business lines 3) Supports the end user with first and second level issues 4) Trains and empowers end- and key users in regards to all aspects of SAP- and ERP technologies 5) Works together with other IT- and business departments in regards to SAP systems and operations topics.
General Duties: 1. Support run business: support all aspects of existing SAP setup. Ensure customer-, legal and internal specifications and requirements are met at all times. Keep Documentation up to date 2. Project- and Change Request implementation: in conjunction with the ERP Solutions group ensures timely implementation of change- and project requests in highest quality and within budget 3. Process- and setup improvements: Provides new and updated solutions in order to save costs, generate revenue or provide any other aspect of improvement for our business lines 4. Subject Matter Expert: Help other groups with SAP-related requests for their needs (take part in IT estimations, feasibility studies, error analysis; provide training/knowledge transfer, recommend solutions)
Nice to have • Experience with common interfacing technologies, e.g. SAP ALE/IDOC, SAP BAPI, XML, web services, EDI, SAP Business Connector and SAP WAS, SAP XI is a plus • Knowledge of mySAP Business Suite (BW, APO, SCEM or GTS) is a plus • SAP certification in ABAP Development Workbench or in one of the required modules is a plus (4.6c and above) is a plus • Preferable experience in or with IT-, High tech- or Entertainment Industry Soft Skills • Flexibility to a dynamic work environment • Quality commitment • Demonstrated problem-solving skills • Ability to work both independently and in a team • Good communications and presentation skills • Quick Learner • Follow through • Commitment • German language skills are a plus
Physical Requirements: • Requires the use of office equipment such as multi-line telephone systems, copy machine & computer • Requires the ability to work long hours and endure stressful conditions (24X7 support). • Ability to be extremely flexible. Work Environment: • Work is performed mainly in office environment • Travel as needed (estimated <15%) to other Arvato locations in the US), but also to customer sites if required. Occasionally travel abroad might be necessary (mainly Germany).
Job requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or Business Administration • Proven implementation and/or support experience (5+ years) • Hands on ABAP programming skills: Programming, Debugging, User-Exits, Function Modules • Good working knowledge of end to end supply chain processes (Materials Planning, Procurement, Production, Logistics Execution, Sales and Distribution) and related SAP modules (SD, PP, LES (WM), and/or MM) • Experience with customization of at least one of the SAP Logistics modules mentioned above, with focus on WM, MM, SD and PP
Education/Experience: Background in Computer Science, IT management, Engineering, Mathematics (BA or Master degree preferred) 5+ years within customer facing business which utilizes SAP Applications: Programming, Configuration and Systems Analysis 4+ years experience in distribution, entertainment, high-tech or retail industry
