Project Controls Manager

Shelton, CT

This candidate will lead a consistent approach to project
management cost controls and schedule updates that provide an accurate update
to the Project Manager. Develop, define and deploy process improvements as it
relates to project management cost controls and schedule updates. Develop,
analyze, evaluate and report on quantitative and qualitative indicators for key
performance of transmission and distribution major capital initiatives. Develop
and apply various activity based costing models for project planning
assumptions. Manage the performance of employees through goal setting, coaching
and ongoing assessment. Identify and resolve technical, organizational and operational
problems with Project Control. Ensure effective lines of communications between
various areas, processes, and process members are established and maintained



This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics,
Finance or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification
preferred. Ten years of experience in Finance, Business Management, Project
Management or the equivalent and two years Supervisory /Project Management
experience required. Candidate must have demonstrated leadership and strategic
direction. Required abilities include demonstrated understanding and success in
process design and implementation.
