Job Duties:
· Will be collecting information from the Study Teams (includes Biostatisitics, Statistical Programming, Clinical Scientists, Project Data Manager and vendors)
· With this data, will bewriting data specifications and then reviewing with other team members for consensus
· Data will go to EDA group (which acts as gateway for external data coming into Genentech) and then the “check process” is done in SAS
· The data must match the data specifications and if it does, it then goes to the customer, which is Statistical Programming
· The right person must be very comfortable in asking whatever questions that may come up and must be able to communicate effectively with technical folks as well as non-technical
· Documentation skills will be very important in this role as this person will be helping to develop new processes which will need to be clearly documented for recreation
· Must have some experience writing data specifications
· Must have good data set skills, but not a ton of heads down SAS programming in this role and virtually no production of TLGs
· Reading Center is where information goes if it needs to be analyzed by subject matter experts
· Strong preference to be onsite… though telecommuting a couple days a week may be a possibility down the road
· It will be key to find the right combination of people skills (soft skills) and Programming skills
