We currently have an opportunity for a SEC Reporting Sr. Accountant.   This team member will be responsible for the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and related SEC filings, and accounting for all equity based transactions.


 


Responsibilities:


·         Coordinate and participate in the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting, quarterly and annual reports, and other required SEC filings, including the information gathering process.  Responsible for the compilation of financial statements, footnotes, management’s discussion and analysis and all other components of SEC filings.


·         Assist with the annual proxy preparation process and shareholders’ meeting.


·         Assist with the preparation of earnings releases, including financial exhibits, conference call script, and other communications/presentations for accuracy and completeness.


·         Responsible for the reporting of equity compensation on a worldwide basis for employees, Board of Directors and consultants both internally and externally in accordance with GAAP.


·         Responsible for the reporting of all equity based transactions, including treasury stock, employee Stock Purchase Plans, and 401(k) match as well as preparing equity schedules and footnotes disclosures for SEC filings.


·         Provide technical and consulting support to the finance organization on the treatment of accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB regulations.


·         Assist with compiling information for Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance.


·         Work with external and internal auditors on requests for assistance


·         Support due diligence activities related to mergers and acquisitions.


·         Other projects as requested.


 


Qualifications:


·         Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance


·         Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience


·         CPA, preferred


·         Public Accounting experience a plus


·         Applied working knowledge of US GAAP and accounting procedures


·         Applied working knowledge of SEC regulations


·         Strong analytical, organizational and research abilities


·         Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written communication skills


·         Must be a motivated, self-starter, who is able to work independently or with a team


·         Must love challenging opportunities to assist or co-design solutions to perplexing issues that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization.


·         Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure


·         Ability to meet strict deadlines on a consistent basis


·         Ability to work with all levels of personnel, from staff to executive management
