We have an immediate need for a SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
***SEEKING LOCAL CANDIDATES**
CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the process industry (upstream, downstream or gas plants).
- A strong understanding of upstream processing operations (gas / oil / water / sand handling), instrumentation and controls, and process and instrument diagrams (P&IDs).
- A minimum of a bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in brownfield engineering.
- A working knowledge and application of regulatory. requirements, industry codes and standards and recommend practices for process equipment.
- Experience with use and proper application of process simulators.
- A strong understanding of stage-gated project processes.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications :
In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong health, safety, and environment (HSE) focus and commitment .
- Design or operations experience in upstream production facilities and gas plants.
If you are selected for the position, your employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of a post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening as well as pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process.
Minimum of a bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical. Engineering required.
English Fluency Required .
