Senior Project Engineer

The primary role for a project engineer is to prepare for, engage and complete client projects using technical, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

·         Working in a fast-paced environment on many concurrent projects

·         Proactively drive clients to complete dependencies and achieve milestones

·         Set and manage the appropriate client expectations

·         Be hands-on with complex issues and commitment to resolution

·         Possess a deep knowledge of the market and the product

·         Document your client notes and project process

·         Secure client and other sensitive data according to Postilion compliance standards

·         Always follow the specified procedure

Technical Skills Required

Enterprise application implementation experience

·         Windows Server and Workstation Configuration, Administration, Troubleshooting

·         Firewall and Networking knowledge

·         Web Application support: setup, ports, troubleshooting

·         Practical experience installing and managing applications in virtualized environments

·         Installing enterprise applications on java framework

·         Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability practices

SQL Server 2005/2008

·         Understanding of database design and object types: tables, stored procedures, functions

·         The ability to write simple to moderate SQL scripts

·         Understanding of basic server configuration and maintenance: backups, restorations, and maintenance plans

Other Skills Required

·         Documentation and Process Improvement

·         A complete understanding of US banking processes and terminology
