SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – Front Office

The responsibility of the incumbent is to design, implement and maintain software applications.

Our Engineering Front Office Department is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement and maintain software applications; work with contacts from multiple departments on requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, roll-out and maintenance; provide thorough documentation for assigned projects; act as a  Lead of certain projects and track and report status of assigned tasks

The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of professional experience doing hard-core windows development using Visual C++, MFC, Win32 SDK, COM, ATL, STL.strong C++, OOD/OOP and Win32 SDK. The incumbent must have experience writing complex and high performance GUIs with strong OOD/OOP and multi-threading programming.  .NET framework, WPF, web development and UI frameworks: StingRay, BCGSoft, Agile, TDD preferable. The successful candidate must have strong analytical and design skills, follows best programming practices and produces high quality code.  Provides accurate time estimates and complete assignments on schedule, exhibits abilities to learn and apply latest technologies to current development environment; very focused / self-driven, can work under little supervision in a standalone or team configuration, adheres to department policies and procedures (coding standards, etc…).  Have the ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast paced environment.  New projects and legacy projects, demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively discuss technical issues with non-technical audience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
