This is a great SLP opportunity to work in acute-care, but without on-call/night duty! My client is a profitable, growing network of long term care facilities. For-profit and owned by a local, Maryland healthcare organization, we are actively expanding—but only within the state. This full-time, non-travel, permanent position is to join the SLP team at our flagship building--an acute/subacute care facility—including a small trach/vent unit-- with a great variety of pathologies to keep an ambitious SLP appreciated and well-compensated!
Job Requirements
- CCC-SLP Maryland licensed
- Acute Care experience or interest
- Experience preferred with tracheostomies and ventilators
- Experience with dysphagia and cognitive training
- Energetic, teachable attitude
Job Description
- Working closely with other SLPs and the Director of Rehab, provide and direct services to residents to include cognitive assessment and acute care treatment, development and implementation of programs, and related professional in-services.
- Five-day flexible work week.
