Introduction:

Bullet Line is one of 3 stand alone subsidiaries of Polyconcept who is the largest worldwide supplier in the promotional products industry.

We are seeking an experienced VB6 Software Developer/Analyst for a permanent opportunity. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and a casual work atmosphere. 

The ideal candidate will have:

·   5+ years of development experience working on large scale applications

·   3+ years of development experience working with Visual Basic 6

·   Experience with DBase IV

·   Experience with SQL Server 2005

·   Experience with stored procedures

·   Experience with Visual Source Safe

·   Some experience working with ASP.Net (C#)

·   Experience with Sequiter CodeBase a plus

·   Must have experience working on existing applications including bug fixes, enhancements, etc.

·   Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment

·   Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Expectations:

·         Day to day will consist of

o    Designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting  enhancements and fixing bugs on existing VB6 / DBase IV applications

o    Communicating with management and/or end users to resolve daily system issues

·         Ability to provide timelines for assigned projects

·         Ability to develop applications from complex specifications or requirements

·         Ability to work independently and take charge of assigned projects

·         Ability to work with internal and external clients to define requirements and resolve problems

·         Assist in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system and Workflow environment.

Core Objectives:

·         Assist in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system

·         Assist in the selection and implementation of a Workflow and Paperless environment

Bachelor’s Degree required
