SOFTWARE ENGINEER LEAD

The major initiatives team provides software/deployment architecture consulting services expertise to Application Teams, Database Teams & Infrastructure Teams to leverage new & innovation Enterprise Scale Technologies/Products across the eTechnology Hosting Platform.
The major initiatives team is looking for a highly experienced Systems Integrator who will be responsible for providing hands-on technical expertise needed to provision, administer and support the Oracle Fusion Middleware Stack - Oracle Internet Application Servers (IASEE) & the Oracle SOA Suite within the eTechnology Hosting Platform. Must have experience working with the Oracle SOA Suite which consists of BPEL Engine (Business Process Execution Language), ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), OWSM (Oracle Web Services Manager), Rules Engine and BAM (Business Activity Monitor).

You will use your talent to complete complex assignments requiring extensive knowledge in areas related to Integration, Relationship, and Project Management. You will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of your assigned projects. You will be an important liaison between technology and the business you support, as you meet regularly with PNC business units to insure highest service levels are achieved and the appropriate decisions are made.


Required

  • 5+ Years Experience in SOA & Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) implementations.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle Application Servers & Oracle SOA Suite

  • Proven technical experience with Oracle Application Server 9i & 10g

  • Proven technical experience with Oracle SOA (service oriented Architecture) Suite/BPEL (Business process execution language)/ESB (enterprise service bus)

  • Proven technical experience with Oracle's SOA/Fusion Architecture

  •  Knowledge of Services Oriented and Message Oriented Architecture highly desired

  • Installed & Configured Oracle Application Server & Oracle SOA Suite in single and clustered distributed environments

  • Experience with Oracle BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) Process Manager, Oracle Rules Engine, Oracle ESB Flows, Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM)

  • Deep knowledge of Middleware technologies such as Apache, J2EE, Messaging, LDAP, B2B, Portal, ESB, Collaboration, and Integration servers

  • Must have an understanding of enterprise service bus messaging queues; experience with Oracle's ESB is a plus

  • Java/J2EE application development experience associated with Oracle SOA, ADF and BPEL

  • Strong knowledge of web services, XML, XPath and XSLT, SOAP and WSDL based development

  • Knowledge of Linux and/or Unix operating systems is required

  • Knowledge of Oracle DB 10g and RAC is required

  • Experience automating system administration tasks through shell scripting (Perl, KSH)

  • Proven ability to assimilate and apply technologies through independent research

  • Client and team relationship/interaction skills a must

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor Level Degree in a CS discipline and 5+ years of relevant IT experience

  • Experience with Websphere Application Server (WAS), Websphere Process Server (WPS), Websphere Message Broker (WMB), Websphere MQ

  • J2EE application development, deployment and integration

  • Web Services, Web Security

  • Must have J2EE Application Development, Deployment - hosting J2EE web applications on Linux/UNIX/Windows platforms and Integration experience - Web Services/SOA/ESB.
