SOFTWARE SYSTEMS ENGINEER

TYBRIN'S Engineering and Test Group provides engineering support services and scientific computer software expertise in the integration of weapons systems, real-time and simulation networks for test and evaluations, telemetry (data acquisition) systems, post test applications, decision support systems, command and control, and mission planning systems software development testing.

TYBRIN Corporation is seeking a Software Developer for the Patriot Excalibur (PEX), a squadron automation toolset. The ideal candidate will work in an agile/XP Microsoft environment with focus on team/test driven development, utilizing Pair Programming, and will assist in designing and implementing business objects that interface with persistence and presentation layers. The primary focus will be on object design, automating testing of objects and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with and integrating code from disparate team elements. The successful candidate will have good organizational skills, good communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent problem solving/analytical skills, must be able to multitask, follow procedures, and learn quickly.

Education Desired/Required:

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineer areas is required.
Experience Required:

  • Three (3) years of specific and five (5) years of general experience is required.  

  • Experience with OOP, SQL, C#, .NET Framework required.

  • Knowledge of design patterns, software development lifecycle, XP/Agile development Methodology is desired.

  • Experience in C++/COM, TFS, SOA would be a plus.
