This is an exciting opportunity for a self-directed team player to work with fast-paced health care technology company.  The SQL developer will be a senior, dynamic hands-on team member and will help to ensure the security and integrity of the databases for nationwide projects to determine the accuracy of claim payments and processing. This individual will be responsible for exchanging data files with external contractors as well as receiving, validating, storing, analyzing and reporting on claims specific data to maximize the quality of services and products delivered to our clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive, track and validate health care claims data for multiple clients
* Upload, map and store health care claims data using Delimited Text File to SQL Server Table Columns
* Verify data transfer success
* Write SQL queries for data mining
* Prepare reports for internal and external customers and support their needs
* Assist with maintenance of the quality and integrity of databases
* Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Computer Science, MIS or related field or comparable work experience required
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT
* Health care experience with claims data processing, analytics or database management desired
* 2-4 years of experience with SQL Server databases and Query Analyzer
* 2-4 years of experience writing T-SQL queries
* Customer service skills in working with users
* Technical and analytical expertise
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases
* Demonstrated skills writing SQL queries
* Understanding of data normalization and relational databases

JOB LOCATION
Las Vegas, NV (must be willing to relocate immediately)
