The Data Admin Analyst is responsible for the day to day production and on time delivery of all products; operation of all software engines data load and archiving; as well as updating policies and procedures of the RHI (Resolution Health Inc.) suite of products for the Operations team using SQL (Queries and Scriptwriting).

Primary Duties:

  • Operate all software engines, and execute various commands and operating instructions in order to load and process client data.
  • Analyze results of system audits to determine and report variations or problem areas; keen attention to detail including an ability to identify data anomalies.
  • Create client deliverable files, reports, databases, etc. on time, according to production schedule.
  • Monitors compliance to standards and processes.
  • Documents and maintains business naming standards.
  • Updates Workflow Diagram/Business Process Models.
  • Monitors, implements and provides ongoing support for small enhancements to new and existing data structures.
  • Develops, delivers user training and provides support to facilitate appropriate usage of data and meta data.
  • Coordinates, communicates and supports upgrade testing of the tool suite.
  • Participates in the resolution of data issues and improvement of data quality/integrity for a specific subject area.
  • Creates and maintains existing Data Flow Diagrams.
  • Supports, assists Sr. Data Administrator and Data Administrator Advisor in more complex tasks and initiatives.
Requires BS/BA ; up to 2 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. General business and technical knowledge of data administration tools and techniques required.

Strong written and oral communication, analytical, problem-solving, and PC skills required (Microsoft Excel Intermediate level - create document use Sum and formula features.).
Experience querying data from relational databases required.
Ability to create, improve, and evaluate a process.
Work successfully in a fast-paced production environment, multi-task varying priorities and meet tight delivery schedules.
The Data Admin Analyst demonstrates ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
Provide information to management regarding the status of day to day business, problems in processing, issues that may affect the delivery or quality of data, and open items that must be executed in his/her absence.
Hands-on experience in SQL Studio, SQL 2008 (including SQL script writing) is required.

Experience with XML and XMLSpy is an asset.
End-User knowledge of Business Object
Hands on Control-M end user experience
Experience in data production preferred; and health industry knowledge and experience a strong plus.
Broad technical aptitude and familiarity with computers and software.

Experience with SQL

Experience with Control - M is an asset.

Experience with IBM Netezza is an asset.

Experience with IBM Tivoli is an asset.
