Our client, one of the largest community-based, not-for-profit healthcare systems in the region is in need of a Clinical Informatics Applications Analyst (CIAA).  Successful candidates must be experienced in Cerner PharmNet, along with required licensure (either RN, Rehab, RRT or Pharmacy).

PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: Six Sigma or Informatics

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and with a team, critical thinking, organizational and clerical skills, computer skills appropriate to position, knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position, medical terminology course, strong understanding of clinical workflows and processes, knowledge of Cerner Applications. Cerner medication process experience highly preferred. 

Description:
The Clinical Informatics Applications Analyst is responsible for understanding clinical requirements in an operational healthcare setting and translating those requirements into formal specifications for products and services. This includes leveraging capabilities of a clinical information system to re-engineer clinical workflow and drive clinical transformation within an EMR project. The CIAA uses a strong understanding of nursing and/or clinical workflow processes and identifies the impact of a system's functionality on those processes. Will work closely with IS production support teams, nursing leadership, and medical staff services.
