IT Project Coordinator Business Analyst
Our company seeks a Project Coordinator Business Analyst to help the PMO Director with multiple internet operation projects. You should have a good understanding of, and practical production experience with, Java web application development. The candidate must be self-motivated; details oriented, and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
This position is 6 month contract to hire 35-45/hr or 75-80K position. Our company is unique, and a major player in the international/global market. This 11 year old company is currently experiencing major growth. They are a 100MM dollar company doing about 350-400K/day in high volume, high transaction e-commerce environment. Casual work environment. VERY Stable industry, almost recession resistant--unless the internet ceases to exist.
Candidates must have strong BA skills. Experience with BRDs. This position is to assist the PMO Director with planning, operations, and working with other internal and external groups. In this role the candidate will serve as point of contact in meetings and planning with executives for PMO group. Candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to work with diverse group and strong personalities.
We are Netflix for the ADULT industry. Candidate MUST be comfortable working in the ADULY entertainment industry /environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collect requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
2. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying needs.
3. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver required artifacts as needed.
4. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
5. Strong analytical and organizational skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements and related documentation.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
7. Serves as the conduit between the business partners, the software development team as well as project managers and the program management office.
8. Develop requirements specifications and additional documentation according to standard templates.
9. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
10. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
11. Work independently with users to define concepts and under the direction of project managers and within the defined process.
12. Organize, lead and facilitate project-related meetings, including the creation of agendas and the preparation of materials.
13. Monitor project deliverables and timelines, notify the Project Manager when issues arise, and take corrective actions, as needed.
14. Assists in setting deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
15. Develop reports and other deliverables as assigned by the Project Manager.
16. Previous exposure to Six Sigma or other SDLC methodology required.
