SQL Server DBA/Developer- Large Financial Company- 17 months - 60-64ph w2-  Charlotte, NC

Desription: 7+ years of experience. MS SQL Server (2008) Database Administrator and Developer. Implements data models and database designs. Designs, implements and maintains SSIS packages. Maintains multiple databases and environments including design, testing, data management, performance tuning/optimization, replication, security/access. Maintains scripts and must be highly proficient with SQL.

Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Skill sets include but are not limited to: Oracle, SQL Server, Data modeling (Sybase PowerDesigner 15.3).

Preferred experience: A thorough understanding of metadata, reference data, and associated systems is extremely valuable. Additional data modeling (physical/logical/meta) and data model repository management experience would make an ideal candidate.

Please note that resources are required to sit on site in Charlotte NC.

Managers are requesting that resources have very strong SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS skills as well as data modeling. The team uses Power Designer but candidates with ERwin and ERstudio should be able to pick up Power Designer fairly quickly. The manager really wants more emphasis on SSIS and SQL development than database management.

First round interviews will be phone interviews and second round interviews will be on site. This resource will work M-F, 8-5. No on call but there may be some off hours worked for implementation shedules.
