SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)

 

 

 

Monster is seeking a motivated SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Technologies Department in our Maynard, MA office. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with the industries best DBAs and latest in hardware and SQL Server technology.


Opportunities exist to work as a DBA on a team of SQL Server professionals supporting Monster’s business systems, core site, or warehouse databases.  The environment consists of primarily SQL Server 2005 installations.  This position offers excellent career growth and an opportunity to continually improve your skills while sharing ideas with a team of other SQL professionals.

 

 

 

 

 



Job Requirements:
_

 

  • Candidate must be proficient in SQL Server 2005 T-SQL. Including, but not limited to, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and ACID properties.

 

  • Solid understanding of SQL Server security administration

 

  • Experience and understanding of DTS/SSIS packages.

 

  • Knowledge of server hardware and Windows Server

 

  • MySQL and PowerShell skills a plus

 

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field

 

  • Must be detailed oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

  • Must be a team player and have a proactive approach to problem solving.
