SQL Server Developer/DBA

Job Summary:

 

SQL Server Developer/DBA with 3-5 years of experience with SQL Server 2005 & 2008. The candidate will work closely with development team in reviewing, tuning, and promoting database objects into Integration and Production environments. In addition, the candidate will work on Production support and assist with other DBA related tasks.

 

Primary Responsibilities/Objectives:

 

·        Create and troubleshoot complex stored procedures

·        Read and understand complex execution plans and create proper indexes and statistics

·        Troubleshooting performance related issues using DMV/DMFs, profiler, and other SQL tools

·        Create and maintain SSIS packages

·        Work with Visual Studio 2005/2008 database projects

·        SQL Server installation, Security, Backups, SQL agent, & System databases

·        SQL Server installation and maintenance on windows cluster is desired, but not required

·        Working experience with SSAS is desired, but not required
