SUMMARY
Assist Contract Managers in managing and administering corporate/government vehicle contacts. Assist contract administrators in administering contractors and assigned government contracts. Perform other duties as assigned in performance of government contracts and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare and ensure timely delivery of reports as required by contract and corporate management.
2. Prepare DD250 and DD1149 forms for approval/acceptance by government to ensure invoicing and movement of contractually required hardware and software to applicable locations.
3. Prepare data or correspondence as required by contract or management.
4. Prepare quotations requests and proposals.
5. Conduct and participate in proposal negotiations with customers.
6. Research and disseminate contract information to applicable personnel.
7. Track and analyze performance/measurable reports to ensure contractual and corporate requirements are being met and fulfilled.
8. Organize and disseminate information for start of work, in-process reviews, and other government sponsored or requested meetings and disseminate minutes from these meetings.
9. Prepare statistical reports as need by Project Manager and other managers and as required by the contract.
10. Develop and maintain vehicle identification records for chassis storage, fielding, testing, and production.
11. Perform all administration functions required for timely performance on Government Contracts.
12. Attend and participate in all government and company meetings.
13. Coordinate with company traffic department priority listing and shipping keeping vehicles on-site to acceptable established minimums.
14. Liaison with all departments necessary for performing contract management.
15. Initiate or review all correspondence concerned with assigned contracts and assist others when requested.
16. When required, supervise and manage Contract Administrators and Contract Coordinators.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of five years related experience with marketing/cost/manufacturing/program management
· Good communications skills and attention to detail. Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· CFCM (Certified Federal Contracts Manager), CCCM (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager), or CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) designations
