We are seeking a SR. CONTROLS ENGINEER who possesses the following skills and experience:

• 2 - 5 years hands-on experience as a Sr. Controls Engineer within a high-volume manufacturing facility
• Strong robotics programming skills (FANUC and MOTOMAN)
• Experience with automation controls and PLC (Rockwell)
• Exposure to PLCs
• Fluent in 3-D CAD (prefer Pro/Engineer)
• Supervisory skills; able to direct personnel and automation processes
• Identify and implement cost savings and continuous improvement

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee the process, ensuring personnel and equipment operate efficiently in support of facility production goals
• Evaluate technological advances; develop strategies for integrating new technologies into production processes
• Develop and implement automation processes to support production goals
• Ensure processes remain efficient; update processes to maintain efficiency
• Support plant hardware and software requisition tasks
• Develop and analyze 3-D models on CAD, bills of material and other documentation
• Provides automation technical support in resolving manufacturing issues
• Schedule and direct tasking to support production goals
• Identify and implement cost savings and continuous improvement
• Performs administrative duties including but not limited to:
  • Train maintenance staff on effective troubleshooting strategies
  • Maintain automation equipment documentation 

• 2 - 5 years hands-on experience as a Sr. Controls Engineer within a high-volume manufacturing facility
• Strong supervisory skills
• Lean manufacturing and change management experience
• Experience with robot programming (FANUC and MOTOMAN)
• Experience with automation controls and PLC (Rockwell)
• Experience with buffing, texturing, and stamping  

Bachelors Degree in related technical field

$75,000 - $80,000, Annually, Based on experience

1^st Shift

This is a full-time, permanent position

Commutable within the region of Raleigh, NC
