Kohler Co., a world-class manufacturer is seeking to add to their team, a highly qualified Sr. Human Resources Manager to lead the global Engines division. This exciting HR leadership role is a newly added position and will be located in Kohler, WI (less than a 1 hour drive North of Milwaukee) and will lead the HR function for engines operations in the U.S., Mexico and China. Flexibility for global travel (may be up to 15-25% annually) is a requirement. This is a new position created due to increased complexity of the operations and global growth of the business and illustrates the high dedication by senior leadership to an HR partnership.
At the Kohler Co. family of businesses, HR professionals interface with all aspects of the business unit they are assigned to, its customers and especially its associates to bring HR strategies into alignment with organization goals and enable the organization to succeed through progressive and responsive HR practices. A partner to the businesses as well as with other HR professionals in other business units, Centers of Excellence and Shared Services, this position is the main liaison with the business unit to problem-solve business issues, coach top management teams and embed common Kohler HR values within business practices.
As a recognized key partner you are accountable for driving business objectives through human resources practices. While relationship building is critical you will be challenged with coaching, training, succession planning along with developing a team of high performing business leaders who understand how to leverage progressive HR practices. You will partner with other HR Centers of Excellence professionals who can offer expertise in the areas of organizational development, staffing, legal and compensation / benefits. KOHLER's strong HR network will ensure that you are part of a larger team.
Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 or more years multi-functional experience at a professional level in human resources with solid demonstrated practices of HR/Business partnership at executive levels.
