SR. PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER

We currently seek an experienced Project Management Engineer to oversee new and ongoing Energy Savings Performance Contract projects.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and analyze conceptual and detailed engineering design and bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for the implementation of energy efficient building technology and system measures.
  • Oversee projects and programs in accordance with performance contract requirements
  • Coordinate with vendors and installation contractors for feasibility and pricing verification of proposed project modifications.
  • Provide engineering oversight throughout construction, project commissioning, and operations.
  • Ensure successful project implementation that meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical needs required to deliver customer energy cost savings.
  • Manage project quality control, expenditures, and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, and tracking.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships at all levels and project phases.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSME plus 7 years’ industrial construction project management experience
  • Ability to maintain/ update ACOE Quality Control, OSHA, and CPR certifications.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
  • Exposure to facility operations and industrial construction projects involving co-generation systems, HVAC, lighting, building controls, and automation technologies
  • Experience with building automation systems/direct digital controls desirable. 
  • Experience with cogeneration on systems from 60 KW up to 1 MW highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to complete projects in timely and cost effective manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
  • Strong verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
  • Will be required to pass security clearance investigation.
  • Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
  • Travel required.
