DSD Laboratories is in search of a Sr Technical writer / SME (Subject Matter Expert)Preventative Medicine Specialist to work in Fort Sam,  TX.

Sr. Technical writer/ SME Preventative Medicine Specialist will provide support for a Distributed Learning (DL) Curriculum evaluation and review process. The evaluation process will consist of the following: A review of content and Technical accuracy; Training Relevance; Appropriateness of levels of interactivity; and product Technical performance. The 68S courseware includes 11 new modules encompassing 269 course hours and 100 hours of modified existing courseware. All courseware review findings and recommendations will be provided to the preventative Medicine Services Project Manager for corrective actions. The review process may be cyclic until product completion is achieved. This is in support of a consolidated blended learning curriculum to be implemented with the Onset of the Medical Education Training Campus (METC)

Specific Activities Include

1. Evaluate provided dL courseware for content accuracy and relevance to the 68S Preventive Medicine Specialist Occupational Specialties approved curriculum and references.

2. Evaluate the provided dL courseware for accurate spelling, grammar, readability, and that it is at a high school comprehension level.

3. Evaluate the dL courseware for logical flow of information. This includes evaluating logical placement of learning checks, practical exercises, and evaluations. Courseware remediation must be evaluated to ensure it is lesson specific.

4. Evaluate the dL courseware for the appropriate level of student interactivity based upon established guidelines based on the delivery order being used by the courseware developer.

5. Evaluate the relevance and appropriateness of all graphics, video, and audio within each lesson/module

7. Must have secret clearance
