5-6 month plus contract for a Sr., Microsoft MSAS/SSIS/SQL Server DBA/Developer.  Contractor will be responsible for assisting with design and development in the areas of MSAS/OLAP (Microsoft Analysis Services) and SSIS (SQL Service Integration Services). Development activities will be in support of one or more projects involving the implementation.of new business planning application from Clarity.Duties include: build and/or modify existing MSAS OLAP cubes, build and/or modify existing SSIS packages, as well as test and deploy them as part of large system implementation. Additionally, the contractor will also assist with design documentation and review to enable effective post production support.
Strong database development skills *Strong data modeling skills (including dimensional modeling) *Strong knowledge of data architecture, data design, and database development *Strong familiarity with data integration & management technologies (ETL, data warehousing, etc.) Preferred Qualifications *Knowledge of the Clarity Corporate Performance Application Suite *Knowledge of Business Intelligence Development Best Practices *Knowledge of Oracle development (database, stored procedures) Development Tools *SQL Server (MSAS/ISIS) 2005 and/or 2008 (required) *Informatica Powercenter ETL (for potential other assignments) *Report Development (Business Objects).
