JOB DESCRIPTION
Detailed job description:
Typical tasks include: Mapping and masking of LUNs on EMC DMX and Clariion arrays, creating RAID groups, storage groups and LUNs on Clariion, creating zones and activating zonesets on Brocade directors, cabling connections where necessary, managing Centera storage and .pea file authentication, writing Technical Solutions documents and creating Physical Architecture diagrams, maintaining Operational Support and Disaster Recovery documentation, proactive infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting issues and off hours support rotation.
Carving MDG and Vdisks from SC, site to site global mirroring and flash copy.
Conceptual understanding required: HPUX/Solaris/Linux/Windows host configurations and storage commands, FibreChannel SAN, Powerpath and other MPIO software, VMware, ESX
