Barry has grown into a formidable three business-unit organization, including owned brands (Dearfoams and Terrasoles), licensed brands (Levi's, Superga and Nautica), and Private Label Brands (Simply Vera, Aerie and Charter Club).


 


The best results come from smart planning. As Strategic Account Manager, you'll


build and execute strategic plans that optimize outcomes and ensure that we achieve revenue goals set by the annual operating plan. Expect to be deeply involved with forecasting, top line sales growth, inventory management and relationship building at all levels of management. This is an "out-front" position; we'll rely on you to act as the primary liaison between R.G. Barry and our accounts, as well as a pipeline of information to senior leadership. Key functions include developing/implanting footwear programs in assigned accounts, developing effective merchandising plans, managing account P&L and providing expertise and direction on product assortment, account needs and promotional/marketing initiatives. Expect frequent travel to meetings and retail markets.


 


This position will be a perfect if you demonstrate a positive, high-energy personality with integrity and respect for others; can work independently as well as in team situations, and have:


 -8+ years of sales experience in consumer products to mass merchants, mid-tier department stores, department stores, and specialty retailers


 -Bachelor's degree or work/education equivalent


 -Demonstrated retail math/analysis, problem-solving and verbal/written communication and presentation skills


 -Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
