Job Responsibilities
Facilitate the entire Executive S&OP process, recommending effective supply chain policy & strategy, and then translating those plans into a detailed Master Schedule.
Supervise/execute the Master Schedule in coordination with Sales/Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.
Responsible for overseeing inventory planning, warehousing, and maintaining inventory record accuracy.
Responsible for rough cut capacity planning for both the inside and outside factories.
Maintain plans that optimize Customer Satisfaction and Financial impact to the company.
Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Business.
5 years operations planning, master scheduling, import purchasing/outsourcing, inventory control; including Sales & Operations Planning experience.
5 years experience in a global supply chain environment.
Certifications: One or more professional certifications ( e.g. APICS -- CSCP or CPIM, or ISM -- C.P.M. or CPSM.
3 years experience in small company environment.
2 years experience working with Great Plains software on the materials management side OR 3 years any other ERP software.
Abilities required
Hands-on knowledge of demand pull (lean) scheduling.
Strong analytical skills
Creation and maintenance of Planning Bills of Material and Planning Bills of Labor.
Excellent oral and written skills including ability to deal with all levels of management.
Above average abilities in Excel or equivalent.
Ability to travel 40% of the time domestically with occasional international trips.
