Cardiocom is seeking a highly motivated and qualified System Administrator.  The successful candidate will be responsible for all IT systems, hardware and software administration. Cardiocom operates in an expanding technology environment comprised of servers, network devices, SAN devices and over 100 production databases. Our primary infrastructure is comprised of Microsoft Server operating systems and SQL Server  databases.

Responsibilities:

·         Support the operations of Cardiocom’s IT Systems by performing a wide range of administration services

·         Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers, web facing applications, and databases using technologies that include: IIS, Windows Server 2003/2008, SQL Server 2000/2005, Active Directory and Group Policies, VMWare, Cisco firewalls / routers, Veritas  Backup Exec

·         Deploy servers, updates and new features for Cardiocom applications into production environments

·         Provide hardware, software and application connectivity troubleshooting in a helpdesk environment

·         Configure and troubleshoot a broad range of hardware and software issues in desktop, server, SAN, network, switch, firewall, back-up and telephony systems

·         Perform SQL database management and write T-SQL queries

·         Develop, implement and document IT system policies and procedures

·         Provide after hours support via phone and remote connection with prompt response in urgent situations

Qualifications:

·         Certifications in Computer Information Systems or related field (MCSE preferred)

·         Degree in Computer Science or related Information Technology field

·         Minimum of three years hands-on relevant technical experience with:

-          Windows server 2003 and desktop (XP, 2000, 2003) operating systems administration and support.

-          Supporting SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 database configuration, maintenance and T-SQL scripting

-          Supporting networking LAN/WAN technologies, DNS, IIS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, remote connections, term svcs, VPN, and DMZ configurations

-          Building and configuring desktops, servers, SAN/NAS devices

-          Implementing and supporting backup and recovery process, inclusive of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery procedures

·         Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers

·         Experience with highly available environments using Win 2008, VMware and other server clustering solutions, automation scripting and IP Telephony a plus.

Salary, Benefits and Other:

·          Salary $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience
