SCANA’s Corporate Safety department located in Cayce, South Carolina, has an opening for a Safety Advisor I. This position provides consultation to management on the electric and natural gas (RP1162) public safety and third party damage communications plans, conducts safety training for internal and external audiences, directs content management of web based safety network, and provides consultation to national public safety alliances and third party vendors, interfaces with AEGIS Electric Public Awareness audit process. Additional responsibilities may include preparing and conducting safety meetings, performing facility and field safety audits, investigating accidents, and preparing written documentation and reports on safety related activities.
