| | | | Safety Coordinator Lancaster/Chester County border Responsibilities: - Develops, implements and administers safety and workers' compensation programs and initiatives.
- Ensures safety procedures, rules and work practices are sound, practical and enforceable; are communicated to all employees across the organization; and are reviewed and updated periodically.
- Coordinates and conducts employee safety-related training.
- Contributes to the development of safe practice initiatives designed to improve employee safety.
- Reviews accident/incident investigations and trends.
- Maintains various records, including 300 log.
Qualifications: - A four-year degree in Health & Safety Management or related field.
- Minimum three years health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with an observation safety program.
- Prefer professional safety certification such as CSP.
- Advanced knowledge of safety-related regulations and standards.
- Ability to recognize compliance and risk issues and situations.
- Advanced knowledge of management systems and practices related to occupational safety and health.
- Ability to recommend, develop and implement compliance strategies and plans.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs.
