Sales Account Executive Representative

Avmat, a leader for aviation spare parts and components for commercial aircrafts, operating since 1978 is looking for highly motivated individuals.


Purpose:

To create and improve existing customer relationships with customers around the world, providing fast, accurate responses to all queries via phone, email, and fax.

 

Essential Duties:

Work directly with major airlines, fixed base operators, component repair shops, and brokers. Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. Processing customer purchase orders from receipt, entry into system, follow through to shipment, and advise AWB to customer. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Provide pricing information, availability with possible lead times, and technical information to customers. Maintain specific customer database information. Identify and resolve customer issues or problems. Coordinate with inter-company departments in order to satisfy customer needs. Review departmental procedures and provide input for changes and or updates. Develop new clientele. Provide customers with invoice and shipment details. Assure proper and timely administration of all processes to include quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, returns, and reports. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Follow up for collection of payment. Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. Any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

Must have prior sales experience but not necessarily in the aviation industry. Ability to multi task & maintain a high standard of excellence in all projects. Microsoft Office a must. Must be self motivated with excellent phone and personal skills. Detail oriented personality. Strong written and verbal communication with great follow up skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as a team player. Excellent attendance & pleasant demeanor, energetic, and motivated. Ability to work on own initiative under pressure with deadlines. Proactive approach to problem solving.
