We are looking for an experienced sales professional to serve as a Channel Sales Manager to service our commercial distributors accounts in North America. In your role as a Channel Sales Manager, you will manage sales to building supply distributors through established sales channels. This will require that you manage a number of relatively large and established accounts and increase the distributor network as necessary.
Job Description As a Channel Sales Manager, you must have the ability to take initiative and ownership to identify and achieve goals and objectives, to confidently and positively adapt to changes and challenges, and to interact effectively with people at all levels of an organization, particularly at the executive level. You must also be highly detail-oriented with solid organizational, prioritizing and time management. It is also vital to your role as a Channel Sales Manager that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engender trust and to effectively integrate and manage interactions between groups. You must also exhibit superior multi-level strategic planning skills and the ability to engage in effective problem solving by examining issues from multiple perspectives. Specific Qualifications for the Channel Sales Manager position include: § Bachelor's degree § 7 years of overall business experience, including 5 years in a direct or indirect sales role § Demonstrated experience working with distribution and channel partners § Proven track record of sales success § Functional PC and PC application skills § Solicits and is receptive to feedback and coaching § Solid negotiating skills § Strong selling skills § Excellent presentation, training and facilitation skills Travel: - Yes, 25% of the time
