As part of our continued growth and success in the industrial water treatment and steam markets, Crane Environmental has the following opportunity: Sales Account Manager located in the Houston, TX, New Orleans, LA or Southwest area will be responsible for meeting sales and market share growth goals and will be required to focus on managing an Independent Manufacturers Representative Network for the Southwest region. This field-based position will be capable of promoting and selling Crane Environmental systems throughout the assigned territory working through assigned MR network, Specifying Engineering Companies, EPC Contractors, Mechanical Contractors and Industrial End-users to achieve sales goals and company objectives. This position requires water treatment experience. Position Summary: · Recruit, train and manage an Independent Manufacturers Representation network within the Southwest and Mexico. · Ensure effective representation and sales of Crane Environmental products and services · Develop and expand market opportunities in assigned territory · Research project activity, accounts, competition and trends · Prepare sales goals for territory · Negotiate and expedite contracts working with Industrial End Users to confirm specifications, terms and conditions and other agreements to ensure firm order placement and satisfied customers · Increase market share and support Crane Environmental presence in the market · Accurately forecast business and projects at a high level · Meet or exceed assigned bookings quota Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: · A minimum of five years experience in outside sales with extensive management of an Independent Manufactures Representative network, preferably in the water treatment industry. · Excellent verbal/written skills · Computer literate: Act, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook · Excellent organization and planning skills · Willingness to travel (50%-75%) · Ability to work independently and be familiar with working from a “home” office when not traveling · A sound technical knowledge in industrial and commercial water treatment is required · Strong and aggressive sales skills, especially closing skills with a verifiable track record is required · Bilingual is preferred Educational Requirements: · BS/BA or Technical School Equivalent Crane Environmental offers a competitive salary, paid vacations, medical, 401(k), quality health benefits, flexible spending accounts, income protection benefits (life insurance) and tuition reimbursement.
