RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Development and retention of the new account sales pipeline for the Austin, TX market, including retention of existing clients and generation of new ones.
· Generation and close of new accounts to achieve sales revenue targets.
· Ongoing follow-up and interaction with existing customers, including issues resolution, identification of new revenue channels, and enhancement of long term client relationships.
· Periodic reporting and communication with Corporate Management regarding daily activities, forecasting and product development.
· Assist Corporate Management with strategic development and expansion of the Company’s physical presence in the market.
REQUIREMENTS
· 4 Year Degree preferred but not required.
· Minimum of 3 years successful experience selling logistics services, with emphasis on heavyweight air/surface freight forwarding and warehousing services.
· Exemplary interpersonal abilities.
· Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
· Understanding of the internet and web-based data communications.
· Self reliant, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a “can-do attitude.”
· Familiarity with industry booking and tracking software preferred.
· Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required.
· Knowledge of the Austin shipping market.
